About LPU Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) Batangas
Inspired by aristotle's greek lyceum, the modern academy educates high school students in an accelerated college preparatory program. No students are excluded due to financial issues. The lyceum was one of six schools in the us awarded acton institute recognition for academic excellence for 2010 & 2011, and is the only high school in ohio recognized by the acton institute, which promotes a free and virtuous society characterized by individual liberty and religious principles. Being a student at the academy, aristotle was aware of changes that needed to be made and, in 335 bc, he returned to athens to set up his own school, the lyceum.
